New Release of Easy Billing Announced

Y2K compliance, expanded invoicing capabilities

December 17, 1998 -- Easy Billing, the flexible invoicing add-on for BPI Accounting, has been enhanced and revised for Y2K compliance.

The new release, called Easy Billing 2000, is available from Alliance Computer Services to existing Easy Billing users as an upgrade. Previously entered data and report modifications will be preserved.

The new capabilities of Easy Billing 2000 are:
bulletYEAR 2000 (Y2K) COMPLIANCE. The program now allows entering and calculating dates for 01/01/2000 and beyond. Dates are entered using four digits for the year (1999, 2000, etc.).
bulletPRINT ZERO BALANCE STATEMENTS. You may specify whether or not you want to print statements for customers with zero balances and no current activity.
bulletNEW FIELDS ON RECEIVE INTO STOCK SCREEN. The Unit Price field is displayed and the Unit Cost field is editable on the Receive into Stock Screen.
bulletFAX FIELD ON CUSTOMER & INVOICE SCREEN. The Fax field is now displayed and editable on both the Customer and Invoice Entry Screens.
bulletNEW INVENTORY PRICING CAPABILITIES. More pricing levels are available than before.
