October 1997 -- Been wondering how BPI will handle the year 2000?
Solving the year 2000 problem is the main thrust of the newly released version 5.0 of
BPI Accounting. Get the update now, and you won't have to worry about it later.
Other minor changes to BPI in the new release:
NEW NAME. BPI is now called BPI Accounting II. In the past, it has been officially
called CA-BPI Accounting II, ACCPAC BPI Integrated Accounting, and ACCPAC BPI Accounting.
1099 PRINTING. The 1099 printing feature in BPI now prints your company's phone number
on the 1099 form.
CANADIAN PAYROLL. Changes are made to conform to Canada's New Employement Insurance
System (EI.) Changes to reports have been made accordingly.
G/L INCREASED DOLLAR AMOUNT CAPACITY. For general journal entries, bank deposit entries,
and automatic journal entries, dollar amounts of up to $9,999,999,999.99 may now be
entered.
INVENTORY CONTROL / LASER PRINTER FIX. Inventory control reports have been modified so
that they now print correctly on HP Laser Jet printers.

with one year SupportPlus Bronze through ACCPAC INTERNATIONAL.
