July 20, 1999 -- QuikBACC 2000 has been released to help BPI users with their accounting data backup tasks.

QuikBACC 2000 offers several new capabilities not found in the previous version of QuikBACC...

bulletBetter security. Optional password-protection for backups
bulletBetter reliability. Optional backup-integrity testing function to make sure that a backup was successfully written to disk
bulletBetter efficiency. Can backup multiple sets of BPI data to a single ZIP disk, or backup in the traditional way to diskettes
bulletBetter compression. Enhanced data compression for increased speed, reduced size of backup

QuikBACC 2000, like the previous version, is Y2K compliant, and works under any version of DOS or Windows. QuikBACC 2000 operates from within the Backup Company and Restore Company commands in BPI, making it the easiest, most non-technical means of backing up BPI data.

QuikBACC 2000 is compatible with the previous version of QuikBACC, and will be able to restore backups made under that previous version.

QuikBACC 2000 is available for $49, or as a $29 upgrade to registered QuikBACC users.
