BPI and other software now available around the clockMarch 2, 2000 -- The Accounting Store is now open. Accounting software users can now order online securely. BPI Accounting II, 21st Century Accounting, and a host of add-on software is now available for purchase online. The goal in implementing the store is customer convenience. "I like being able to log on to Amazon or LL Bean's website and order stuff after hours" says Shannon Tucker of AccountingUsers, Inc., which owns the Accounting Store. "We wanted to give our customers maximum convenience and ordering flexibility." "We have customers wanting to place orders from overseas, from Hawaii and Alaska...places from which it's sometimes hard to contact us. Some people want to place an order in the evening or on a weekend, when we are closed. Now they can order their accounting software whenever it's convenient for them."
