BPI and related software is now readyDecember 17, 1998 -- BPI Accounting, and the major add-on products that enhance it, are now Y2K compliant. Y2K refers to the problem some computer programs will experience once January 1, 2000 arrives. BPI Accounting II version 5.0 is Y2K ready. Previous versions are not Y2K compatible, and will not properly handle dates after the year 2000 arrives. The problem would apply to financial calendar dates, transaction dates, and calculated dates (like finance charge calculations.) The main add-on products for BPI Accounting, Easy Billing, Easy History, and Easy Job Cost, have all recently been revised to correct Y2K problems, and the updated versions are now shipping. Alliance Computer Services offers same-day shipping of Y2K versions of BPI Accounting, Easy Billing, Easy Job Cost, and Easy History. Overnight delivery available.
